I’m all about music that moves people.
Choosing an emotion-centred wedding pianist (like me!) takes the experience of your special day so much further – I pick up on the vibe in the room and adapt my playing to change or suit the dynamics – enhancing each moment to bring everyone along for the ride.
What’s my vibe?
- I’m huge-hearted and all about love, earth and nature.
- I have over 40 years of experience in teaching and performing piano.
- I’ve recorded for BBC Radio Berkshire.
- I played for Prime Minister Theresa May when she was in office.
- I was featured on Channel 4’s The Piano.
- I’ve been the resident pianist at Burford Garden Company for over 4 years.
- I’m a Cotswold WedFest member.
- I regularly donate my time to play for charities (supporting people with mental health issues, learning disabilities and dementia).
- I’m a mum of two boys.
- I’m a huge dog-lover (my current partner-in-crime is a French Bulldog called Beanie, who came to me from Blue Cross).

My story
I started playing piano at 5 years old, purely because my sister was learning (she’s six years older than me and I have always idolised her). When she stopped playing, I carried on. Piano has always been a passion of mine.
My piano teacher was hugely influential on me and the way I play. Read more about him, and the impact he had on me, in this blog.

Why do I love playing at weddings?
Being a Wedding Pianist is an incredible privilege – to be a part of your special day, and witness that human connection.
The right music enhances the emotions and feelings on the day, and the very best musicians are intuitive – we read the room and tune into the audience.
When I play, I want it to be an immersive experience. And when my piano playing truly moves people, that’s what I love.
